ELP has been awarded a Ministry of Education contract to deliver professional development in communities in the following areas:
- Morrinsville
- Ngaruawahia
- Huntly
- Hamilton
- Te Awamutu
- Otorohanga
- Putaruru
- Tokoroa
- Te Kuiti
- Taumarunui
- Rotorua
These areas have been chosen by the Ministry for various reasons in order to support services that are likely to enrol children who have the greatest potential benefit to make from quality
early childhood education (such as Māori, Pasifika and children from low socio-economic areas).

Our approach
We will use the notion of a research question as the focus for each setting's individual programme. A research question is an important tool, keeping both accountability and focus in view.
Our professional development will be delivered using a variety of processes including: in-centre support, one-to-one mentoring, workshops etc.
