Internal Evaluation Framewook Handbook
This folder has been provided to support you to keep evidence of your centre’s internal evaluation inquiry journey in a systematic way. It makes sense then to use ERO Pou as a framework to retrieve evidence of improved practice that has been embedded in the principles and strands of Te Whāriki.
You will see that some structure and information has already been provided for you in this folder. It has been organised to allow information to be retrieved and viewed easily. Please modify this as required and add chapters as necessary. The expectation is that this folder will have growing evidence of collegial progress embedded in developing Whanaungatanga “which has been described as the ways in which a group of people, come together for a common cause or kaupapa, interact and behave with one another …Whanaungatanga creates a support system drawing on loyalties, obligations and commitment to a common purpose” (He Pou Tātaki, 2013, p 18). So the evidence gathered here will be from distributed responsibility across the team showing how each team member has contributed to improved professional practice and outcomes for children.
