MoE Funded Professional Learning
Please note, applications for this intake have now closed.
ELP has been awarded contracts from the Ministry of Education to provide professional learning programmes in four different areas.
Our professional learning programmes are based around our highly successful cluster model, and are delivered using a variety of processes including in-centre support, one-to-one mentoring, and workshops. The programme will centre around the notion of a research question that is developed by each setting and tailored to your specific requirements.
Settings will work alongside each other to support and challenge each other in building their own learning community, with one of our professional learning facilitators alongside to guide teachers in this process, as well as providing valuable support and insight throughout the year.
If you are interested in one or all of these programmes please click on image below for more information, or click on the drop down menu to the right of the page.
ELP has been awarded a Ministry of Education contract to deliver professional development in communities in the following areas:
These areas have been chosen by the Ministry for various reasons in order to support services that are likely to enrol children who have the greatest potential benefit to make from quality early childhood education (such as Māori, Pasifika and children from low socio-economic areas).
Priority areas for the Ministry of Education are settings with high numbers of Māori and Pasifika children.
Our programmes will be based on these topics
We will use the notion of a research question as the focus for each setting's individual programme. A research question is an important tool, keeping both accountability and focus in view.
Our professional development will be delivered using a variety of processes including: in-centre support, one-to-one mentoring, workshops etc.
